gnome applets with python tutorial

Finally, the doc is out. It should be improved now, it’s not finished! Pango, Localization, Accesibility and some HIG tips would be good starts. Do you want to try? It’s a good way to start GNOME hacking, first meeting with high level Python, then deep into C, with some GTK+ and GNOME concepts well-learned :D. I’m sure you cannot say no. Your mind is telling you “why not? Let’s try”.

I’m absolutely grateful for lgs, which has been the great helper for this doc to see the light. Don’t know him? What are you waiting for? ORKUT him right now! -:D

Well, I would love to give a try to this pyGTK thing but… where do I find enough time to do it?

By the way, I think I don’t like very much this Orkut stuff, I don’t see the point.

    Congratulations again. Nice job.

With respect to the Applet thing, Arturo you did 99% of the work. I just made you willing to do it 🙂

  4. Life experience teaches that we generally get back what we put out. If we don’t like what we are getting back, we should examine what we are putting out.
